04.22.2008 Pala Grand Opening
Maybe the best cement park in Southern California opened yesterday in the city of Pala. Just in walking distance from the casino, the new park has something for everyone. Stu Graham, James Brockman, Shuriken Shannon, Marius Syvanen, Tom Remilard, and Cuong Lieng, and Aaron Fotheringham all headed to the park for the grand opening festivities. With bands playing in the outfield of the baseball field right next to the park, everyone had live music to listen to as the bowls and street course were annihilated. Check out the photos!
Guestbook
“Great cartoons! I publish the newsletter for the Wildrose Polio Support Group here in Edmonton. Is it possible to use cartoons from time to time to make a point or provide some comic relief?”
— Bernie Hornung
“I love the cartoon. We run a youth project for adolescents with special needs - with your permission, I would love to do a colour print of Leeder's exploits each week and post him on the wall.”
— Ric Law
“Great strip!”
— Dana Rhyne
“Good work! I like the cartoons. Some of them are funny to me, because I'm a roller. I'm going to try them out on my students and see what their reaction is. Ideas: More interaction with typical clueless TABs. Perhaps it would be educational, but better yet, it would be a good emotional release for folks like me.”
— K “BearWhlz” Hetrick
“I liked your cartoons! Do you have any graphics or cartoons showing PWDs doing household chores or daily living... like cooking, being a family, doing the laundry?”
— Thomas Hamlett
